In which case the very first thing they'll do is reinvent Japan: Miso, daily baths, rice and anything else that is alyways mentioned in "Reincarnated/Transported into other World" stories.
As a western reader I sometimes get the impression they are unable to do anything else...

"World peace" or "typical japanese food the author likes"... decisions, decisions...

I like how the MC's keep claiming he isn't a hero despite having the most hero-esque power and went around doing hero-like things (I have a feeling this kind of thing will annoy many people though).

If you've read all the translated chapters, he doesn't feel like he's a hero because his power requires him to put people in danger for himself to be at full strength.

This Mc actually has the most restricted power. He has to fulfill a lot of conditions to use his full power, that's why he doesn't like to stand out. Without his powers he is just a little stronger than an average villager. Though he is able to use a part of his power with the right conditions.

yea and according to some spoilers posted here one of the restrictions is even worse, he has to have a comrade die to remove one of the restrictions...so yea he considers himself the weakest cause his power is not always fully available and he thinks he isn't fit to be a hero cause he needs people to die and be in danger to be at full power
