Technically, it IS part of the Nasuverse... Fate is just the most-well known because of 1000 spinoffs.

So it can be argued they're still working on the same project. Now we just need an officially confirmed anime series within a year or two, and THEN the meme will be truly dead.

The trailer looks great. And I heard the original soundtrack in the trailer, I hope they don't change the original music because it was already perfect.

Major update!

Spoiler for Type-Moon Ace magazine scans!:

Probably most important things that got confirmed!

Release date is set on August 26.
Current release will contain only Near side routes (Arcueid and Ciel)
Far side routes (Akiha and Maids) are discussed for sometime later.
Both Near Sides routes are now greatly expanded and twice as big than in original. Lasting around (45 hours with voicelines).
Both routes also now have own titles. Arcueid's route is "Moon Princess" and Ciel's route is "Rainbow in the Night".
Remake will not be an adult game, but still will aim to have a CERO-Z rating (the highest 18+ rating for games) in order to portray content "faithfully." (This really sound to me like that they plan to go bordeline level route).
Story is now set in 2010, some characters may have slightly different personality because of that (for example Shiki), but some other characters will be mainly unchanged (for example Akiha, because Tohno Family live outside the era they reside in).
New character Noel will play noticeable role in Ciel's route.
Remake will have an updated 27 DAA list that will add new members and update old ones.
Also Melty Blood: Type Lumina was Announced!

Arc really looking like Casturia there.....was she always this young? Thought her more like Ryougi's age, physical appearance-wise

Anyway, the Melty Blood announcement was unexpected. Wonder if they have far more stuff incoming. (anime? new game....? MOVIE??)

But still no PC announcement. Am disappoint

On another note, Ciel's route is exquisitely named. Then again, her own name does set that up but still....
