hmm do you guys think there'll be a third season after this?If so, when do you think it'll come out? I'm hoping, but do you think they'll have enough budget to animate the next arc(ALZ)? it has lots of volumes it'll be pretty darn long...probably 40 ++ eps maybe?

Do you honestly think they wouldn't continue to milk the cash cow that is SAO?Along with AoT this is probably one of the most hyped shows in the last years.It's pretty much a given.I doubt that they'll release more than 25 eps at once.It will be split into multiple seasons.

The third season would undoubtedly consist entirely of Alicization. But they'd need to complete the LN version of Alicization first. After that, the prospect of future seasons would be unlikely, I think.

That's always the possibility that they split Alicization into two seasons, animating most of what's already published in one season, and the rest in the second, once the LN is finished?
Just a possibility that I've considered.

I wouldn't know--I haven't read up on Alicization, but I get the idea that it's larger than the other story arcs, and that there's nothing after it. So I figure it'll get probably the whole story arc for the season, rather than the two/three that seasons 1 and 2 got.

Considering everything that it covers, and if it is well done, i would even say that I could be done in 48 chaps

I need feed back on something I noticed while rewatching the anime

Why didnt Kirito log everyone off when he was on the admin control panel,im guessing because of emotional reasons and he wanted to save Yui and ended up not noticing what he could have done

because what he do there were just simply search for the term MHCP001 in the console and then convert that into item so that it would be stored in his own nervegear. to log everyone off the very first thing you need to do is to look up what command do the server program have that can do this and by the time you are reading manual the admin right would already be timeover.
