Animation-wise, comparable to Kateikyoshi Hitman Reborn! so I don't really mind it too much. Though it is kinda sad that Yumeiro Patissiere has better animation...

The story is interesting enough, so I guess I'll start reading the manga instead.

Natsu's VA is totally out of place, it just doesn't suit him. I expected something more...Luffy-like.

I think I'll stick with the manga if this goes mainstream though...

Fairly good first ep, and the OST is superb, so I'll follow this one

Happy's voice is really not normal. I never imagine his voice like that. It's just wierd. Natsu's voice is also a bit out of character but I can live with that. The animation wasn't really that great. I was hoping for a better one but still. The flames were pretty wll animated.

Since there was Gerard in the OP we could asume thy're going to reach that ark. Otherwise as the mamber of the council he wasn't important enough to be in the OP. So that I think will put it at 52+ episodes. After all they have huge arcs before that one.

One thing I didn't like was Erza's character design in the anime. That appearance doen't quite suit her character. She always looked more serious and mature in the manga and yet you could clearly see that she's a girl. Her armor in the anime kinda looks too plain and flat for some reason. It's like they emphasized more on the funny side of the story isntead of the serious parts. Maybe it's somewhat because of the animation style (which is way too colorful and bright for me)

I'm not a manga reader and i don't care . I find it more interesting than One piece .
This anime is worth watching .
First episode was hilarious and great action .
Lol Happy's voice is Louis , Shana , Taiga's voice . That weird yeah .
Lucy's voice is Haruhi's voice .
Promising anime .

I have to say Ewwwww to Natsu's voice. Every1 elses voices seem to be fine. I originally thought the anime would be totally crap, not matching up to the goofyness in the manga, but it did very well. I'll continue to watch Fairy Tail every week.

I'd always imagined Happy's voice to be similar to what Shamisen's from Haruhi turned out to be.

I didn't like Lucy's expression and voice when Natsu broke into the ship. Pretty nice episode, voices don't bother me yet but Gerard's hair in the opening is too blue.

From what I've seen so far, it's pretty good. I haven't watched that much anime yet but I can tell the animation could be up a few notches. Otherwise, I think they did a pretty good job.

The OP song feels pretty generic to me but I like the ED song for some reason.

I found it funny that many people compare one piece with fairy tail just because of the art style in the manga.

I read them both on weekly basis (I am a fan of both of theses manga) and they are really different in terms of storytelling so people should stop comparing. But it seems to me that one piece haters just like to bash it whenever they get the chance to do it and the opposite could be said to one piece fans can't we all just get along.

I'd say Simon as Natsu works perfectly actually. I really like that they cast against what the cliche voice would be.

Which is probably a bad thing. Artland isn't a great animation studio. The fillers were

I don't think he needs to sound anything like Luffy. They're both very different characters.
