^ Probably more of a weapon. Having the Crown Prince die is one thing, but giving him to the enemy to do with as they please is a terrible situation for the Princess. Basically, his sister could now be accused of High Treason against her own family...

^ It kills a large number of the MC's enemies due to being directed to do so. That sounds like an effective use of a weapon to me. And it seems like it would work better than my suggestion on how to use the Crown Prince as a Weapon.

Elizabeth really is going to get screwed from this. No matter how incompetent he is, Elizabeth can't kill him herself. The Demon Army can easily demand territory in exchange for the next ruler.
