Why is taking longer than Vol 16 to get spoilers for Vol 17? We might only get them by release date at this rate.

^ Hirofumi? i dont think so why bother bring him back this late in the game and what influences he would have to the plot. Generally, characters on the cover page will play major roles in the story. Hence i guess it would be some guy who have significant reaction from the news of TatxMiyuki identity and engagement. Masaki is plausible just ignore the hair colour as the illustrator might used the wrong colour.

It's most likely Hirofumi. Maybe the reason Mayumi is making that face is that they're going through with the marriage.

Previews for Dengeki Bunko LN are out 3-4 working days before official release date. Vol 16 was released in May which had Golden Week holidays and so the preview was released more earlier.

Preview for vol 17 should be out within few hours if not tommorow.

No, previews come out usually on the day the volume goes up for preorder. Nobody knows why V17 is delayed. They haven't even updated the site with a link to amazon.

I also checked the previous volumes of Index NT, their previews also came out 3-4 days before release date.

I don't think that's Hirofumi but he must be brought back, it' inevitable, he is Mayumi's first candidate for marriage and is an important member of his clan, they will all meet this volume so he will be there.

He was not even mentioned in this volume, Hirofumi only appeared in volume 11 SS. As of now, characters we know with fiancées are Tatsuya(Miyuki) and Kei(Kanon).
