Just discovered this LN and I am so far enjoying it!
Now I'm just patiently waiting untill the rest gets translated ^^
Also, I like how Tama Pochi and Liza are in the background on all the Volume Covers

That's just the author pushing the plot into the planned direction destiny pulling the MC's strings. Every hero feels compelled to do one or another thing, and he was simply compelled by destiny to buy them.

At the very least, it's better then feeling compelled to reinvent Miso or something similar....

I just had a disturbing thought. Liza mentioned "her tribe was no more". Didn't Satou vaporize the Scaled Tribe?

......Did he kill her race?

i suspect as much.. and what's worse, liza's entire tribe's corpse probably is somewhere inside satou's inventory

No. I think they were a dragon race. To begin with we don't know if there is a diference between males and females demihuman. Maybe the males have a lizard head and the females are like Liza.

She's a Lizard race beastkin, not necessarily a Dragon race (but maybe distantly related? Nah.)

Kinda' like how there are also Tiger beastkin & not just Cat ones.

Nope.

Liza's tribe got wiped out by some other cause. It gets mentioned in one of the later chapter.

not to mention that Liza's been a slave even before Satou showed up...

which meant her tribe being wiped out happened before he dropped a meteor in that location...

also, by definition (imo); a Tribe is an organized group of individuals/families banding together to settle in an area that suits them ... just because they are of the same race, does not mean they belong to the same tribe (or group) . . . tribe and race do not mean the same thing . . .
