What are the chances of Goodsmile re-releasing old figures? With the movie and season 2 coming out, I'd like to get more Kancolle nendoroids; but I'd like to know the odds of GS selling them again before I drop beaucoup bucks.

They rarely do that, and it is mostly for very rare and popular figures like Saber Lily and the likes.
For instance, they never rereleased the Bakemonogatari series figures so finding a second hand Senjougahara Hitagi would be at least 10k yen, unless its very badly damaged. A brand new one would cost around 20-25k.

Don't expect any reprint for their special "Wonderful Hobby Selection" as they are their first premium line of figures.

Nendoroid prices tends not to fluctuate much in the market cause the stock is abundant.
In other hand for PVC, better get your fave one fast before the price rise...

- Rare but not impossible. Remember they turned around and gave figma Kirito and figma Asuna from SAO a 2nd run. And then there's that bit of releasing a better version of figma IM@S Rin Shibuya after most fans (myself included) broke their backs tryign to get the exclusives.

So yes, it's not impossible for GSC to rerelease their figures, but it's rare, and usually ahs to do with insane levels of popularity...or in conjuction with a new release.

Far more likely is GSC making a whole new version of the older figure and releasing it--see figma Saber 2.0, Figma Rin Tohsaka 2.0, etc...

Also finally completed the Kongo sister nendo afternoon tea time set. Definitely gonna hold off on future purchases until Zuikaku, Shoukaku, Mushashi, etc. get announced.
