I remember her being kind of a bitch until her guild got killed, and then she was kinda ok while Mavis was trying to save her. I find it a bit hard to feel sorry for her since the nice Zera we knew later was entirely Mavis's creation. I was hoping that maybe Zera's ghost was somewhere inside the illusion and then there could be some sympathy and forgiveness for her, but instead it's all the more sad for Mavis.

So, apparently the treasure hunter guild Yuri and the others were a part of was Sylph Labyrinth all along. And the master of Blue Skull wound up forming Phantom Lord specifically to rival Fairy Tail. Could he actually be Jose's ancestor? I love little tie-ins like this.
And that's the end of it (and don't be fooled by the placement of the final "Mangastream" page, because there are a few more pages after it). It's almost surreal, seeing the end of a Mashima-drawn series after so long. It makes me wonder just how Fairy Tail's story will end. Of course, there are still unanswered questions like how Mavis came to learn Zeref's true identity, or how she went about forming Lumen Histoire, but judging from the main series' current events, we may find out the answer to these questions soon. All we need now is an animated adaptation. It'd be neat if the anime decided to flash back to this series once they finish the Tartaros arc. After all, they need something to keep the anime from catching up, even if this may spare them about 6 weeks. Who knows, maybe they'll also do Ice Trail and get an extra 6 weeks out of that.

That's the end of the magazine, as was always intended to be the case (or so they say). But what I want to know is, how will any future DVDs be sold? As I understand it, the anime box sets came bundled with the magazines in Japan.

Definitely young, but they also lived in a much less peaceful time it seems. |
