I'm not quite done with the chapter yet, but as predicted Hajime uses some sacred water on Meld, and mocks Kouki for his attitude. Meld backs him up when he regains consciousness and apologizes for not teaching them how to fight with the right mindset and thinks its his fault as an educator. He is a pretty cool guy.

Oh snap, Miu shows up at the end while Kaori is still internally debating about the changes in Hajime. Well I guess thats one way to quickly establish his character with his classmates, but I really didn't want Daisuke even knowing about her.

LOL. Classmates tries to make a move on Shia, Hajime yakuza kicks and shoots rubber bullets at them. Chapter ends with Miyu at the entrance when they exit. Does anyone know what the author means by rewritting SEKKYOU?

Shia : "It can't be, a new rival....."

Shizuku : "My best friend is crying, c'mon, give her a hug", was a message transmited through the eyes ------- recluctanly he opted for patting her head. It really was the Hajime of always.

I liked the parts between Yue and Kaori. That deadlock stare and then Yue blows her off and wins round 1.

In my opinion probably not, unless the bandits turn out to be the stereotypical total asshole types. I think Yue won more than round 1, the fact that the two of them starting flirting openly right near the start probably didn't help.

Ah, I thought that it was odd (reading in a hurry right now).

So, as expected Hajime had pinpointed the location of everybody before blasting the ceiling prior to his entrance.

As expected Kouki is still upset about the kill while Hajime talks a bit about what he learned in the abyss, stating his intent to kill without hesitation, even if faced against his classmates. Finally he mocks Kouki since he stopped right before killing the devil out of fear, as Hajime deduced the fight from observing the magical powers from using Limit Break and the position of Kouki and the devil after he arrived.

Did I read it right, the church was planning to have Kouki&co subjugate bandits later to teach them how to kill and Meld was conflicted over?

While climbing, Kondo tried to talk and get closer with Yue and Shia but was ignored, while attempts to touch Shia were deterred by Hajime's 'attacks'.

Shots fired between Yue and Kaori, followed by an unexpected (or expected?) ambush by Miu.
The second coming of Hannya mask next chapter?

Edit: In the Afterword, does the author intend to rewrite some chapters after he wrapped this arc up?

"If you are troubled over this much, you are better of forgetting about Hajime", was apparently the meaning of her Smirk ---- Initially, she was worried over the appearance of a new powerful rival, having always believed on him and his survival but due to the extreme change he suffered, the opponent seems conflicted now, as long as she can't cope with this reality, she simply isn't good enough to steal Hajime away from her.

---- It appears that in this love battle, Yue is way above in tactics.
