I assumed you bumped the thread because you've read it. I'm talking about the chapter where Illya fights Julian in her ascended Saber form, which is probably less than 10 pages long (I don't remember the exact count).
We'll, I guess it's not that much shorter than the chapters we've gotten lately. The focus on action rather than talking may have given me that impression.

The story is crawling forward. But bit, by bit we are getting there. Illya is doing what she can and the fight with Juian is getting intense. At least she's doing a good job of getting him angry . Whatever he's doing to power up his body has to have some weak point to exploit. Illya will just have to hang in there to find it.
Curious to see if the next one will move back to the Kuro/Miyu and Pandora situation. Not a lot happened this chapter, but the action was still nice.

Well what really grinds Julian's gears is Illya's idealism only reminds him of the ideals he had to discard. He hates the fact that he admires the ideals themselves when he knows reality is not kind to them. This has become a battle of two trying to force the other to admit their outlook on things is wrong.
Still even if Illya wins then she has to figure out a solution to this, and I don't think it's as simple as wishing on the grail, even two of them. Though considering this type of story, maybe it is........ We'll see I suppose. In a year or two.

Agree that this is just a showdown between opposing points of view. While winning the fight might matter, it's more about breaking the other person's beliefs. But at least they are doing it with some crazy over the top action . I kind of like how people in this arc can really use the cards powers in ways opposing how the actual servant would have thought. Shirou used the Archer card for a purely personal battle to save one person at the expense of the world. Even Kuro uses the card in a similar manner. Illya is pulling so much power from the Saber card despite the opposing stances. Saber used her power for the sake of the ideals of others. But Illya admits to using that power for her own personal ideals. But maybe she can still pull all that power because her beliefs are as strong as Sabers. There's no doubt for Illya in what she's doing and standing for.

Jeez, how much longer are we going to be waiting? The latest chapter on the site I follow 3rei on is #70, "Chapter 53.4: The Boy and Girl's Lie", posted March 27th; are we in the middle of another multi-month hiatus?

As for the reason I don't know. Maybe it is pacing things out for health reasons or simply taking enough breaks to plan out the rest of the arc. Would like to see these chapters just come out in rapid succession since it's been a good arc. But it will get there. I'm more curious to see how things are going to play out. There are a couple wild cards still out there in Sakura and Gilgamesh. And there is the mystery of how Julian is powering himself up so much despite not using a card. Heck I'm curious to see what might happen with Miyu and Kuro in that space with Pandora. There's a lot of reasons to really want a new chapter that's for sure .
