Okay so. Finally it's getting interesting now that the villains are getting more screen time. It finally feels like there's some dark stuff going on. Not like, Gaim level dark, but I these guys feel sufficiently dangerous at least.

The plot is actually accelerating too fast. The vibes I get are similar to OOO with the whole rushing out all the eyecons so the commercial part of the series ends faster. However there's still the reek of Wizard about it.
Now that I think about it, I feel like it'll be similar to pre-Freeze but post Type Technic Drive arcs. I think they're going to do something big to wipe the slate clean again, like a soft restart. Either way it feels like things are still kind of twisted now in a really really campy way.

I am still watching ghost, and it's actually quite good (Well, I pretty much like all shows so )
The plot is definitely moving forward. I don't mind the plot moving too fast (I don't even think it's moving fast), it's a lot better when the writer has something to say other than dragging on. You got to give credit to the staff for trying something new, for example: Spoiler for spoiler:
Another thing about this show is that it tries to explain what it takes to be a hero, which so far still has room for improvement, but I can see it will get better as the show progresses I really think ppl should give this show a try, but it's just my opinion XD

Ofcourse collecting 15 eyecons doesn't have to be all that dragging. The problem however is that they all serve as some sort of power-up form. You don't get to nestle in and appreciate exactly how cool they are. You get like 2 minutes of use as a debut and then you pretty much never see it again.
The plot moving too fast or not is pretty subjective I guess but for me it stands as odd how everything just seems to be swept up in front of you. Major plotpoints just pop-up with no sense of weight to them. That's how I feel anyway. EDIT: If there's one thing they did that I'm not sure if they were planning to do so and succeeded quite splendidly at was making Takeru's father an ambiguous figure. Honestly I can't figure out what was going on through his head during the research. Either way I sort of hate him.

At first, I also thought Ghost's plot is moving fast. But I think they're actually trying for the surprise factor here, with the 15 Eyecon hunt being just a small part of a bigger plot.

well, yeah, ghost's power up is not that great, but that's more like the problem that has existed since ooo (I lose count of the finishers each rider has since that time XD)
Storywise, I actually think the story has been getting better since gaim. Since gaim, you can see the writers are really trying to put some new elements into the standard plot. I think the plots from w to wizard were pretty cliche (W got handled pretty well and wizard was the most bland)
