Main character Haruno Sora, one day experiences a supernatural phenomnon that throws him into another world in the middle of nowhere.

Luckily for him a sage of that world had the ability to see the future and predicted he would be there. The main character is picked up by the sage and taught magic of that world.

The main character was a college research student and makes use of his knowledge to excel with magic. He has a considerable thirst for knowledge and goes on a quest to solve all the mysteries of "mana" and magic of that world.

The "researcher" type, pretty naive, though he's always trying to create new magic or figure out how things work. Thanks to that he becomes considerably overpowered, a lot of magic similar to Sage's Grandson, though this one goes a bit more into the details of the magic.

The plot and character himself is pretty much focused around science & magic.

Yes, though there's little actual romance. Main character is more interested in creating new magic theories than the female leads.

Update frequency is considerably slow. Though it's an amusing short read.

I know right. The plot hasn't moved since like... chapter 5, and then all of a sudden BAM. This chapter. I wonder if the chapter pace will go up any.

I hope so but I think not. At least we need more volume for each chapter if the pace doesn't change, like Knight's and Magic for example :/
