So while Kafka's identity is still a secret people are starting to suspect there is something fishy going with him. Still, using kaiju's powers is the only way for him to be effective in combat so tue chances of being discovered are only going to increase. Having Nina as an ally would be great, she could use her authority to cover for him and avoid him being used as a test subject, but so far there isn't a 100% certainty she would take his side.
Speaking of her, currently she's more of a plot device than an actual character, she needs some development and to start interacting more with Kafka.
