Oscar is repeating same phrase every couple episodes: "I don't want to kill you", "Don't make me kill you". Is it the trend in josei novel? Another josei novel(Koukyuu no Karasu) also has a king repeating: "I promise not to kill you". My speculation, based on the classification of English romance novel, there is market of dangerous love interest. The female readers are said to be thrilled by a dangerous characters in romantic fantasy. The dangerous characters can be werewolf, vampires, fugitive, etc.
There are another repeating dialogues every couple episodes.
Since Oscar clear the stage provide by Tinasha's game, she grants him one wish as his trophy.
Oscar: I want you to bear my children.
Tinasha: Allow me to refuse.
My speculation is that it is another cliche in josei story. The love interest is a bit pushy, and his background is usually twenty something billion dollars CEO. The female lead is showered by his obsessive behavior.
Tinasha's dress looks quite modern, even in medieval looking setting.
Spoiler for speculation:
As the story progresses, more puzzles are added than answers. I heard the source material is like a speedy train. If people don't mind the spoiler, they can read Babel(the sequel of Unnamed memory). In Unnamed Memory, the heroine has superhero power. Fighting monsters is slow life. In Babel, the new heroine's power is lackluster. Fighting monster is matter of live or die. So, the story develops on world building. What doesn't make sense in Unnamed Memory makes more sense in Babel.
The author first published Unnamed Memory and Babel on her website. Then, she submitted her works to the website "I want to become a novelist". The publisher became interest about Babel(maybe due to easier to read). The publisher committed to published two volumes and requested the author to compress the story. The illustrator also had to do some communication for the abridged version. The edition became out of print. The publication of Unnamed Memory has better reception from readers. Another publisher became interested to publish the complete story of Babel, which is four volumes. The new illustrator was hired. Both novels won the award on the same year. The award is called "This novel is awesome". A lot, if not most, novels on the top list of the award have been animated. The animation production period of Unnamed Memory seems particular long since the announcement.
