A bunch of people liking something that you end up not liking doesn't make it overhyped, it just means you don't like it.
Within a day the last episode got 58.7K likes on CR, and that's just people going out of their way to hit the like button and says nothing about how many people actually watched the episode. I wouldn't exactly call that falling flat.
