And you are overlooking what makes the situation different this time.
This is no world omega or beta because Touma was not put into this uffering by an outside force.
Touma himself caused all this. This is only karma, nothing more and nothing less.
Suit Touma is the way he is because Real Touma's own desire.
Touma was not attacked by some other who is trying to hurt him by tossing him into an unfair world.
Rather, Touma is getting defensive over his own shortcomings.
