Look, I'm not arguing whether selling this stuff should be restricted. If you say it should, I take your word for it. My point is, if NUNs did this by force and without offering any sort of compensation, then I can totally understand why Windermere went to war. Losing this stuff must have been a pretty heavy blow to their economy after all. This is the sort of thing that pushes real-life countries to war.
