this question some years ago. While I understand why the new codes can't be added to the
BB Code List FAQ list.
There were some examples for a possible alternative solution

The other thing I would like to do is implement a button like we have for spoilers to go in the editor toolbars, except it would let you choose from any of the new functions. I'll have to look to see what is involved in that.
