Wow, I love the chapter. Especially the beginning and the rescue of Satoko. From an animation stand pt I can see why they didn't choose to do this chapter, but wow, it's great~
The thing that irritated me was Akasaka. I like the guy. When he comes out at the end of Tsumihoroboshi, it really made me jump for glee that he's keeping his vow from the end of Himatsubushi. And then he reappears in Minagoroshi... He was such a beacon of hope that if I was Rika I was jump and hugged him. Seriously, he had that white 救世主 aura. Especially, with that blurb of how he's become stronger and blah blah blah... but then nothing comes out of him >_< がっかり、赤坂ヒーロー失格！！！ If I was Rika, I would have kick him in the shins at Watanagashi. 立絵とかで期待差置いといて ＞＿＜
There's a few things I don't completely get.
1) Satoko. She went to L5 at one pt. I'm assuming that's the second year and she became delusional and pushed her parents off the cliff. That would explain the number of years she's been under treatment. If it's the Satoshi incident then, what the heck happen to him? I just don't think it's fitting, time-wise and with the other statements made throughout the series. Rika consistently tells her it was an accident which makes me thing that it's the second incident. The thing I'm wondering if this was coincidental or not. If it's the 4 year then definitely not, as 黒幕さん (hiding purposely) would have made sure it happened. I truly think the 1st year was just coincidence. 2nd year is questionable. 3rd+ no way. It was planned to seed this fear. H173 (I think) was available during the early research so I think if it's the second year then maybe...
2) Onigakushi
They do reveal that all the Onigakushi are high L people.
So the people Onigakushi (First murderer, Satoko's mom, Rika's mom, and Satoshi) probably reach High L. First Murderer is obvious. The even explicitly mention this. Rika's mom isn't stable from the TIPS from Himatsubushi... but's it's hard to connect her to the father's death
Satoko's mom also is not fitting. Satoko had a bad relation with the father not the mother. And if what I'm correct about Satoko reached L5 in the 2nd year, it still makes no sense. Maybe the 2nd year was just a coincidence... but it's hard to argue that b/c no matter which world we see this always happens, meaning that their a strong will making it happen, not just on any day, but always on this particular day... 怪しい
From the info gathered from all the worlds Satoshi was like K1 in Onigakushi so he's most likely L5 too. This makes sense with his disappearance. Satoko is being a wild card here...
3) Rika. The 女王説 is BS. I don't understand why 34 was ordered immediately. Couldn't they just wait a day to see what will happen? It's obviously not a threat to us spectators as we know from the Ms Sonozaki rage scenarios. I didn't understand the immediate urgency 黒幕さん was able to convince THEM of.
4) Scrap 34. Why? Cover up? Shi & Rena kawaiisou~
5) Rena. The footsteps she heard..? I understand K1, Shion, and Satoshi but Rena? Just delusional?
6) Hifumi T. 誰？
7) I must have read over this... but in Tsumihoroboshi... the gardeners. Why? I missed something here.
I'm sure there's other things that's boggling my mind but those are the ones that are sticking out right now. Not a question related to the mystery but just I'm wondering why Rika didn't just go to the Sonozaki Honke as soon as Mi and Shi came over? Or when they called in for delivery, call for backup? 車とか、葛西さん辺りがものすごく頼りになると思んだけど．．．Or hide out in Shi's apartment complex. I mean she has the whole thing to herself! not that Rika knows that but still! 詩ぃ、もっと気を利かせろぅ！I guess the whole Type-S thing wouldn't gone well with the cops already there... If they both worked together and if Rika went to school by car via Kasai/Shi... oh well.
All in all I loved the chapter. I think the K1 rescue would have been more believable if Kei/Rena were actually equipped with their Hougus (lol). But that freeze plane was just awesome. I would have love to see that animated. OVA kana kana?
My guess is Hannyuu is the next 主人公. It would make the most sense. Although I personally like K1 to end the series as he began it. It's amazing how much he's grown in the last few chapters. "K" is awesome. I think after the whole こっちの世界に来い he's become my favorite character. Rika's view of him made it even more so.
Off topic, but Hanyuu and Kasai probably would get along really well.

Oh, I think maybe I got Rika's father's death. Maybe he was stabbed with Cxxx (forgot the number, 120?) which cannot be used on healthy subjects. Maybe while attempting to cure the mother Rika or someone else tried to inject her but instead got the father. Later after reaching L5 the mother was onigakushi'd?
