I know a bunch of 1950s era schools that were taken out by the state due to issues they've have trying to rebuild them for either modern technology, or wear, or environmental issues (asbestos).

Issues with their school ship would turn the continuation into
Girls und Panzer: Mighty Ships edition. Fun that might be, I don't think it's likely they'll use the school ship as a catalyst a third time. I'm personally hoping it deals more with the girls' future endeavours with Panzerfahren and whether or not they're striving for competition at a professional or international level.
