That being said, I really loved this episode and how it concluded. Illya is "getting real", so to speak.
Think of the sticks drawing power from the Multiverse while Illya draws her power from the Root. Though Illya's capacity is halved as Kuro took the rest of it. Illya is still connected to the Root but her output is lower. With both the sticks Illya's output would greater.

With the same birthday as Illya and as a grail, Miyu is an alternate universe equivalent of Illya.

Remember what Caren called the girls? A miracle (Kuro), a necessity (Illya) and a happenstance (Miyu).

Difference is Miyu wasn't born to be the key of the Holy Grail. Miyu was born with all the functions of a complete grail. The prize is her not something within her.

As for Gil well the guy is shameless. So shameless that Illya feels tainted. Oh he must have an impressive noble phantasm for the girls to call it WORLDWIDE.

Next week to slap Miyu Illya will have to beat the crap of Gil. This has been a long time coming since UBW. Time for some payback. He may have taken her servant, her maids but he won't take Illya friend.
