Very good news. I really enjoy the ainu-inspired world of Utawarerumono in the first season. It gives you something different from other RPG-anime out there. And I can’t forget Suara’s excellent songs in it. I hope she can return making and singing good songs again for this upcoming sequel.
And I miss the comedy in Utawarerumono. I laughed my ass off watching Hakuoro & Oboro’s antics in the extra episode where they need to take a dump after eating expired food but there’s only one toilet nearby, then Aruruu gave them her “surprise attack” LOL. And don’t make me mention Touka and her doll
. Those were a good laugh.

Well, as long as you like the RPG genre, I think you’ll enjoy the first season (and yeah, you should watch it first as it has the important bits to the story IMO).
