Well, technically 10 keyholes are visible, but given the design, the other two keyholes are hidden by the text bubble. They could be other keys, though, but I have a feeling the last two gold keys will make an appearance. So they need a strong Celestial Mage with all twelve keys, and Lucy is the closest.
I can't help but wonder, though, if this is how Lucy's mother died. Since apparently it takes the life of a Celestial Mage to open the gate, Lalya might have opened it before for some reason.
And shipping discussions are always dangerous, and currently I'm happy with the level of shipping in the show (most relegated to the background). But I'd lean towards Natsu, even though I don't quite see them as couple material yet. Gray's developed a few too many connections with Juvia which makes me want to see him with her at this point.
