A complete PSP remake of Tactics Ogre, featuring new graphics, new game systems, and an expanded story. Direction by Hiroshi Minagawa, design by original creator Yasumi Matsuno, character illustrations by Akihiko Yoshida and Tsubasa Masao (ZoE2, Metal Gear series).

No word yet on whether this is an in-house Square Enix project, but the visual effects resemble Jiro Mifune's (FFT, Vagrant Story, FFXII, FFT A2) work.

I guess this fulfills what fans were anticipating eight years ago, when Matsuno and the Ogre series had been reunited.
