This thread is for those of you with questions about the Re:Zero anime or manga. There are many questions that don't need a whole thread to discuss them. A simple practical answer straight from the anime or manga without any speculation can solve these connundrums. If someone has such a question about Re:Zero which can be solved by answering with facts from an official source, then please ask that question here.

Please don't post in this thread unless you are asking a question or answering one. Please remember that it only takes 1 person to answer a question. And don't speculate! You can only reply with cold, hard, merciliessly unforgivable facts. If you have to speculate, then please just tell the querrant that no answer is known, but here are some facts that might help him make up his own mind.

Make sure you use spoiler tags if your question is about the anime, manga, or any non-anime source. Untagged spoilers are risking a ban. There are two ways to create clearly marked spoiler tags, as shown in the following:

The easy way: By simply clicking on this icon which can be found in the Quick Reply or Reply to Thread template. This is how I create spoiler tags.
or
The macho way: By using those uber vB codes as shown in the following...

Spoiler Tag Example
Don't forget to use a title for the spoiler!
...becomes...
Spoiler for title:

The anime covered 9 volumes, the last of which hadn't been published when it finished. Almost 9 volumes. In the original material, the final arc ended on a very tragic note, but the anime stopped at the happy ending before it.

It's covered 9 books that comprised of 3 arcs. Currently there are only 2 published books left which take place in a new arc.

The LN itself is actually based off the original web novel which is much further ahead incomparison to both, Arc 6.

Thanks for the responses, didn't know that it is originally a web novel.

Since it covered so many volumes, was anything significant left out of the anime?

Also did Puck and Beatrice know of Subaru's ability to return by death?

Yea, but nothing doesn't prevent a continuation.

Hello everyone.
There is a scene of Re:Zero than I cannot find in the anime.
Part of the scene is used in this youtube video([AMV] Re:Zero - Paradisus-Paradoxum) at 0:26.
It represent Emilia and Subaru at the capital,on a high ground, staying immobile while a gust of wind blow, before ascending the stairs. Normally, the scene proceed to transform as a painting on a church wall, but this part isn't used in the video.
My question is: where does this scene come from, and where can I find it?
Thank in advance to anyone replying.

That scene is from the first PV for S1, but didn't make into the anime.
