Wow, that was intense.
Action packed all the way with the girls, transformations, Bazett, etc. So it's revealed that there's a second Archer class. Guess we'll see who that may be eventually. Some of my favorite OST are played in this episode too. Quite satisfying. |
Finally a good episode for this season.
Bazett was badass, and Luvia had some good moves. And a nice scene with Caren at the church. |
Finally back on track! Not that I didn't enjoy the fillers since I love all aspects of Prisma Illya, but was waiting to see the final chapters animated.
It was really intense and they nailed it with the fight and soundtrack. Stick till the very end of the episode. :D The new ED is great. |
Holy fuck, I wanted to vote 10 and accidentally voted 1.
...Of all the episodes, this happens to me on this one, amazing. |

As a Fate fan, I really appreciate the fact we've been getting nothing but beautifully animated shows post-DEEN. We're pretty lucky to have these talented studios work on them. I don't think there is an anime series that tops Fate with action scenes and fluidity in motion. If there is, it must be pretty amazing.

That was intense. They are up aganist an enemy out of their league and they know very little about it. Bazett was pretty close to losing her life there.
The soundtrack really fit this fight and the new ED was nice. |
A second Archer? Spams noble phantasms? That VA? We all know who that is and after what happened in UBW it is ripe for a little payback from Illya.

Was I the only one expecting Avenger instead of Gilgamesh? I mean it makes sense, don't get me wrong. I was just expecting something different.

It's absolutely hilarious how much better this show is when it remembered it has a plot. Like you could literally feel this difference when the second half of episode six kicked in. Won't make up for the first half though IMO.

Now this was freaking fun. The showdown with this card was pretty intense and they did a great job with it. The first opening salvo was a well prepared plan that did some success. But in the end....nope. They knew at that point this was a very bad situation. Their best shot...blocked.
Then of course Bazett had her moment to shine which was also great. Went from awesome, to dead, to back to awesome, to nearly dead. Nothing sets you up as a threat by killing or nearly killing the person that beat up the entire main cast last season. Bazett did have the best shots at finishing this off. Did a lot of damage and even tried to gouge out the card. But nope. Oh and on top of that this threat managed to follow them back. Well damn. I guess not being able to win is now really a big problem. Best episode of Herz by a mile. Quote:

An all out battle today against the eighth card, a mystery archer class servant that I'm sure we all have no earthly idea who it is. The girls give it everything they've got, even sic Bazett on it, but all seems for naught as it laughs off anything they give it. Even Bazett's all out only allowed her to take hold of the card for just an instant. All in all an enjoyable battle that was a delight to watch.
Don't forget to watch after the credits, there's more. |
Was this fight worth the wait? Hell yeah it was. The animation and choreography were top tier, and that rendition of GoB was the best ever seen in anime.
Bazett truly deserves the title of Berserker woman. And that preview. Illya not afraid of asking the question everybody's wanted to ask since the release of Hollow Ataraxia. |
I need some Bazett gifs.

Finally we're back where we're supposed to be!

Wow awesome battle with "you know who" and The Green One is correct, there is more after the ED credits!
Point of interest for me, is Caren going to save the day next ep? |
