Baba having a horseface is likely why Odokawa sees him as a horse. |
Well, this episode confirms without a shadow of a doubt that Odakawa sees everybody as an animal. My bad for not catching this sooner.
|
Little Daimon finally enters the fray. Well worth the wait. And wouldn't you know it, never trust an idol.
Was pleasantly surprised over the last few days to learn how many of my friends are watching this, given some of the usual suspects also airing. But this has been a good time. Just hope it can stick the landing.... |
Amazing that this series has generated so few comments!
I'm about to embark on rewatching this series from the beginning. There are so many layers of plot and a sufficiently large cast that I want to go back and see how the threads fit together. Hard to do that on a once-a-week basis for a show like this. |
I'd rather this be a diamond in the rough than overexposed.
Well, that latest ep certainly has everything ready to explode. Little Daimon is the wildcard. What he chooses to do will have a big say in how things go down. As for the hippo...why do I get the feeling he will mess things up for Odokawa. It would be hilarious if dodo psycho shows up during what's about to happen. |
Dynamic tag cannot be rendered.

Yano may be a criminal, but he sure dropped one hell of a banger. :heh:
|
Well if nothing else the beat was good. But it's nice they got an actual rapper for Yano, although I think there are some seiyu's who are pretty good at it. Natsuki Hanae actually isn't that bad himself.
|
This is Odd Taxi - if the character fresstyles, you get a hip-hop artist to voice them. If they're manzai comics, you get manzai comics. I'm surprised they didn't get actual cops for the Daimon bros. (they're manzai comics too, actually).
|
Thing is whether their superiors will allow actual uniformed officers to participate in it.
|
Sayonara, Taichi. Won't miss you. Geez, he almost made Dobu likeable...Dodo psycho is still at it. And...is what Goriki is doing actually going to accomplish something worthwhile? Unless Odokawa did something unforgivable before we met him, I'm not sure 'changing' him would actually be positive for him.
|
Dobu is too cool to be hated
let's see if he actually got recorded on youtube live I'm sure he will got a lot of fans! |

Someone did a rendition of the OP via electric guitar.

Is Shirakawa trailing Odokawa? Her being at that remote area was suspicious, though a good thing for Odokawa.
I wonder if Odokawa can actually maneuever his way through the events to come. Seems like a dangerous route he's traveling down. |
The Taxi driver nearly got iced if it wasn't for alpaca.

There is hardly anyone that isn't playing with fire at the moment. Especially Odokawa. Playing this many sides at once.
While the present focus is about to reach a climax, the underlying issue of the original incident that has remained a mystery thus far is only just getting addressed. Who is the aardvark that has only shown up a couple of times yet seems important? And what exactly did Goriki learn at the end of that ep? Will Little Daimon actually play along? Where is the GPS now that Dodo psycho was using to track Odokawa? Can't shake the feeling Odokawa will utilise the GPS to create a bank addicted dodo robber. At least we got to see Shirakawa finally dish out her capoeira and why this series has its title. 3 eps should be enough time to pull this all together. Edit for Ep 11: I knew it...I never trusted the idols at all and it turned out to be right...absolute scum. Although...still doesn't show who killed Yuki Mitsuya or a motive. Odokawa's parents die under suspicious circumstances then he mysteriously gets a benefactor for three decades? One thing is really bugging me. Who is the aardvark? In episode 3, he said 'I'm allegedly the reason she (Yuki) ran away from home.' Then he asked someone to look into it, saying she's Don's daughter. The only other time we saw the aardvark was in the sauna in episode 10 where he said he had thought Odokawa was behind Yuki's disappearance, then apologised for thinking that. Then after Odokawa said that he wanted to repay those that helped him, the aardvark said he was glad in a very relieved way. I'm guessing the aardvark knows who the benefactor is. |
what a jawdropping episode
I wonder how they will wrap it in the last episode but I'm 90% sure this will be my AOTS! |
They have 2 more eps actually.
My bet that a new member killed the previous one. She is way to suspicious. |
I had a thought about Odokawa. What if repaying meant avenging his parents' deaths? Maybe he knows who was responsible and that whole some aspects of the current scenario are beyond his control, maybe he has been able to redirect it to his advantage?
